Unwinders

With the exception of lines fed by blanks, unwinders are the start of every sheet metal forming process. This equipment conducts the unwinding of the coils.

Stopping the machine to change coils represents the most unproductive time in the process. To make the most of a roll forming machine's potential, we recommend purchasing unwinders with a high load capacity.

Unwinders are available in different models, varying according to the weight, width and maximum outside diameter of the coil, the thickness of the sheet, the yield strength of the material, the speed of the process and the sizing of the brake.
